One evening, nurse Ciara Duffy is at home with her 9-year-old daughter and the girl’s friend. She leaves the home briefly, monitoring the children via an app. She watches, horror-struck as an intruder enters her home. She races back, but no stranger can be found. That night Ciara goes to sleep and wakes in the small hours to find her husband beside her, stabbed through the heart. Soon she is arrested and charged with his murder. Ciara knows she is innocent, and she also knows the reason someone may wish to harm her family. She has no one left she can trust, so she has to fight. But first, she has to escape.
