Rentt Faina accepts a request to defend a small village from a band of marauding skeletons. What should’ve been a routine job turns dangerous when Rentt tracks down their source–and comes face to face with a powerful skeleton knight! But what has caused these monsters to evolve? The answer may lie with the strange small cup Rentt found at the battle site, but there’s barely any time to investigate: there’s always work to do for an adventurer! Clope the blacksmith has decided to face the ghosts of his past and enter a blacksmithing contest, and he wants Rentt to guard him on the journey. To top it all off, Rentt has to prepare for the Silver-class Ascension Exam.With so much work on his plate, it’d be nice if Clope’s request turns out uneventful. But our intrepid undead adventurer is rarely so lucky.
