When a dog-walker leading a pack of pooches runs into a teacher leading a caboodle of kids, everyone gets tangled up in the jumble, and a shy boy named George accidentally switches places with a furry pup named Romper. At first, it seems like not much is different. In school and at the dog park, there’s snack time, playtime, and lots of opportunity to learn new tricks. George likes running around outside. Romper likes sniffing everything inside. When day’s end comes, will they swap back, or stay jumbled forever?
