One murder. Six suspects. Two billion reasons to solve it. Only Murders in the Building meets Schitt’s Creek in this charming and quirky cosy mystery set in a funeral home (and B&B). Welcome to the Rite Love Funeral Parlour (and B&B), where the tea is hot and the bodies are cold. Mortician Essie Love has always felt the dead are easier to deal with than the living. Especially when the body of billionaire philanthropist, Horatio Wilde, arrives on the doorstep of the Rite Love Funeral Parlour (and B&B), with a shocking revelation and a challenge for his horrid relatives: Find out who killed me. It’s bad enough that a storm has everyone trapped but worse still, there’s a killer amongst them. And Essie’s mortuary fridge is really beginning to fill up. Not that she would usually mind. Dead bodies are good for business, after all. But Essie can’t help wondering, could she be next? Everyone is a suspect. Everyone is a contestant. Solve the murder and inherit the money. The race is afoot. Hilarious and heartfelt, The Funeral Party is a madcap romp riddled with outlandish characters and plenty of hijinks.
