Little Fox begins to wonder. If their differences can be seen, why can’t his? Why does his feel so hard to explain? As he asks questions and tries to make sense of his experience, Mama helps him understand something important: not all disabilities look the same. Some are visible. Some are not. Through this, Little Fox begins to see himself differently. He learns that just because others can’t see his disability doesn’t mean it isn’t real. It doesn’t make it less important, and it doesn’t mean he shouldn’t be supported.
