Hurry is a hurricane like any other. He doesn’t mean to scare people-he’s simply nature. When a hurricane is on the way, big questions often follow. What is happening? Why is everyone acting differently? What should I expect? Will I be okay? Hurry the Hurricane is a gentle, reassuring story that helps answer those questions with honesty, warmth, and understanding. Through comforting rhymes and engaging illustrations, Hurry tenderly guides children through what hurricanes are, why they happen, and what to expect before, during, and after a storm. Along the way, little readers discover that while storms can bring uncertainty, the grown-ups around them have a plan-and they, as kids, have an important role to play too. By helping children understand what to expect, Hurry the Hurricane empowers them to face hurricane season with confidence, knowing they won’t face it alone.
