Sibel is so over her traditional parents and their strict rules. No make-up. No parties. No fun. All she wants is to spend the summer with her two besties, but instead she has to spend it with her old aunt on a boring island off Istanbul. When Ardy’s grandfather dies, Ardy and his dad travel from Sydney to Istanbul for the funeral. Ardy is sad, of course, but he can’t help thinking this is an opportunity for a plan. He loves a good plan: find the stray dog his family fell in love with years ago. Before the divorce. Before his dad became so unhappy. Ardy’s plan starts to unravel when he’s sent to stay on the same island as Sibel. When the two meet, Sibel sees it as her chance to make her own plan: Ardy can help her get to her friend’s holiday home, in exchange for helping him find his stray dog. Simple enough. But sometimes life doesn’t come with a plan. Especially when it comes to love.
