Even better, Grandma Sookie, a real-life singing star, is in town just in time to give Millie all of her advice. But when the cast list is announced, Millie Magnus’s dreams of the spotlight fizzle. Her best friend, Poppy Anne, gets the starring role. While Poppy Anne dances center stage, Millie Magnus is stuck in the background . . . as a tree. The show must go on and so must Millie Magnus, but she’s stuck battling a twisty, yucky new feeling in her stomach. Will she let jealousy upstage her love for Poppy Anne? Or, with a little help (and a lot of wisdom) from Grandma Sookie, will she discover that being a good friend is the most important role of all?
