Roy Grounds (1905-1981) is a renowned Australian architect. This is the first book published on his work. He is best known for the Australian Academy of Science in Canberra and the National Gallery of Victoria alongside the Victorian Arts Centre. This book presents some of his early domestic work – designs for small, efficient and engaging flats. Buildings that are very relevant today – at a time when Australia is grappling with a housing crisis and the need for small, efficient and affordable housing is unmatched.
