The well-beaten path is a “compilation” of writings put together from notes written over several years, containing poems and essays. It’s about the musings of the author informed by many contemporary issues that have past or currently evolving causes. In all of this, the readily obvious doesn’t seem as well understood anymore. We find the rise of contrasting polarities which seem to be amplified very easily, calls for a reset. The focus of this book is partly a search for that reset. It opens up in a small and gentle way, the discourse to every demographic, age, and creed. The discourse you will find is sometimes light-hearted, at other times deliberative, even conversational and in other places introspective. The appositeness of its contents spans years gone by, the past, current events and projections for where we are headed. It is my hope after going over the finished work that there just might be something in it for everyone who picks up a copy to either enjoy or be critical of. However, I would rather the sentiment were the latter than the former.
