As a legacy of her last crime solving endeavour, fashion designer turned author, Mackenzie Cruz, is suffering from amnesia. She doesn’t remember working with hot detective Jack Calloway and his team but is very interested in doing it again. When the Logie-winning host of breakfast TV show, Every Morning, is found stabbed, drugged, and bludgeoned to death with his missing gold statuette, can Mac recover from her amnesia and regain her memories to help Jack find the perpetrators? Will she remember what he did during their first case together, and can she forgive him in order to solve this case? Or will the final act of the perpetrators tear her away from him for good?
