The inquisitor Roche and the prince-electors concoct a nefarious plot to make Col a martyr, but their plans fall to utter ruin when Diana drops out of the sky to help. Word of the Twilight Cardinal s triumphant return spreads throughout the empire, and people begin to swarm Wobern hoping for a glance at the fabled figure. Col isn t out of the woods just yet, though, because the Twilight Cardinal is about to fall in assassin s crosshairs yet again!
